Dr. Zupancic is a solutions oriented problem solver with extensive experience in the design and execution of applied biotechnology research projects. He has hands on experience in the manipulation of gene expression and production of recombinant proteins in bacterial and mammalian systems and brings a biological perspective to problems in disease research. Dr. Zupancic has provided custom research services to clients in the areas of protein therapeutics and bioproduction systems with an emphasis on understanding the needs of research organizations and to developing effective technological solutions in an economical and timely manner. He is a former National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow and holds 17 U.S. patents.
Dr. Richard Brody, Ph.D Vice President, Protein Biochemistry
Dr. Brody is a biochemist with more than 25 years of experience directing laboratory programs in protein purification, stabilization, formulation, and assay development. He has been the recipient of National Institute of Health Research Grants and has provided technical leadership on both industrial and government sponsored contract research programs. After receiving his Ph.D from Harvard University, Dr. Brody has worked in the biotechnology industry, in contract biochemical research, and in academia. He is an inventor on 14 patents and has published papers in multiple areas of protein biochemistry.
